SPB has had a long history of engagement in the works of faith. For years, a certain pride was palpable because of the engagement of parishioners in any number of pastoral initiatives.

Often, you might hear parishioners tout, “We have 117 Ministries at our parish”, and comment on the enormous good that so many of them carried out. Praise God for the ways in which the Holy Spirit has been at work in our midst!
To that end, it is time for a rebirth of pastoral zeal on the part of all the disciples of Jesus who worship at SPB, regardless of age, cultural background, marital status, perceived busyness, or real/perceived sinfulness.
The challenge becomes motivation: what will motivate all of us to respond to the work of the Holy Spirit within us individually and as a community?
